Large-scale tryptich by contemporary artist Ricardo Ramirez Rivero, 2019. papier mâché is mixed with gesso and applied to the canvas and manipulated to create the design. The canvas is then painted with many layers of paint resulting in works that are at once both textural and sculptural.
