Wreaths across america

Wreaths Across America organizes the placing of wreaths on veteran graves at selected National Cemeteries throughout the country each year. Wreaths Across America begin in 1992 when Worcester Wreath of Maine has extra wreaths, so they donated them to a National Cemetery. We often contribute to this causes and this year produced a video describing how the practice originated. The wreaths, show above, are at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, CA.

A few years ago my family and I volunteered at a Wreaths Across American event at West Point. It was an incredible day. I wanted to share our experience here with you- and then give you some information on how you can be a part of Wreaths Across America events- either at Arlington National Cemetery or locally in your community.
