I often see people asking questions on ‘how do I start a garden’ Facebook groups. However, there are a lot drawbacks or logical contradictions that aren’t considered in all of the raised bed propaganda. So now I will list a few reasons why you shouldn’t build a raise bed garden, and some of the flawed reasoning behind raised beds. My goal here is to get you to at least consider in ground gardening, and make you aware that some of the ‘assumptions’ of raised bed gardening aren’t really true.
