organizing idea for kids craft supplies For you scrapbookers, Peanut Butter jars work really well for organizing markers, scissors & punches. We also use them in the shop to sort nuts, bolts, screws, etc. Write on the jar with a sharpie marker or print out a label to make it look professional. Goo-Gone gets the label residue off. Keeps stuff dry and clean and Organized!

Kids' art supplies, workbooks, and therapy items

I love this. We took a bookcase that wasn't functioning well in my youngest daughter's room and moved it to the downstairs playroom (a topic I'll cover some other time). Linking it to OrgJunkie's post about like-with-like items this week - although this was my FIRST 52 weeks of Organizing project! How cool is that? I got the clear PLASTIC jars on the top shelf from Oriental Trading quite cheaply. They are great - don't break if dropped. The smaller size is perfect for standard and toddler…

I am now teaching high ability kiddos with brand new curriculum....eek! I honestly don't know what direction this post will go in because trust me, it is all about randomness! I will start by showing you some project pics. Yes, this would be the hubs modge-podging. He was a modge-podging maniac this summer & we are still not done! I we prefer to…

DIY Tin Can Wall Organizer (What to do with all the empty coffee cans I have accumulated. Don't ask why.)

Turn Tin Cans into Wall Art/Organizer

Tin cans are pretty. Especially when they're grouped together, as evidenced in the picture above. The maker saved a bunch of them up, peeled off their labels, arranged them into a pleasing shape, glued them together and then, after the glue dried, the art was hung on the wall with the help of a screw or two. It looks great as wall art, but it could also serve as an organizer for small office supplies or even nick-knacks. Via Green Upgrader.

Ladybug's Teacher Files: Community Supply Bins {printable} This is what I have been looking for! I'm a little concerned my middle schoolers will destroy it but maybe it's worth a try!

Community Supply Bins {printable}

This is the last time I blog about supply labels, aaargh!! Well, there's good news and bad news. The good news is I occasionally post about my projects before they are completely finished, since I can't wait to share them with you! The reason this is good? Because of the bad news: I thought the taller cups I was using for my supplies could be hot glued to the bins, so they wouldn't tip over. Unfortunately, this melted my first set of cups beyond repair. Sigh. However, I took solace in the…

Shoe Bag Rethink. For Kyla, our little artist's birthday we filled a clear shoe bag with tons of art supplies.
