First have them put a ton of glue on the center ring of black plates and push the black beans as flat as possible. While waiting for glue to kind of dry, the children write what they are thankful for on the petals. Next, we added a touch more glue on top and sprinkled a reddish brown sprinkles on top. Then we glued petals all the way around.
