This giant wooden blackbird is part of the new knowledge forest (an educational nature trail) at the ega-Park in Erfurt. The main goal was to create a fun educational environment, which addresses all the senses. The blackbirds surface is riddled with sensors and a speaker, presenting the sounds of lokal birds.
