Parts of Speech Activities
I love using sentence building as an activity to teach the parts of speech. Students learn the various parts of speech and how they work together to form complete sentences. This sentence building activity can also be used when teaching complete vs. run-on sentences or when teaching compound and complex sentences. This activity was a favorite for my early finishers and makes a great word work station.
