The south front. Saltram, Devon stands high above the River Laira in a wooded park on the outskirts of Plymouth. The house has magnificent decoration and original contents. The house was largely created by three generations of the Parker family between the 1740's and 1820's. Saltram was transferred to the ownership of the national Trust in 1957.
