An extremely rare Greek helmet adorned with a ram's head from Southern Italy which was crafted from a single sheet of bronze during the Archaic Period, 525-500 BC. On display at the St. Louis Art Museum the decorative touches that appear could infer that it was worn by someone of prominence. #AncientGreece #Greek #Helmet #Museums #MilitaryHistory #Warfare #Classics Greek Helmet, St Louis Art Museum, St Louis Art, Ancient Armor, Ancient Greek Art, Grece Antique, Southern Italy, Greek Art

Shanking a wanker has been a tactic du jour for centuries. Fastforward several and you get the DIRK. Beloved of Scots, and still worn at weddings. You could cut with them. Stab with them. Anyway these came in a ton of varieties and are still used/carried today some places. This one has some GORGEOUS inlay on it. It also scares the bejesus out of me b/c I'm way scared of knives. Fun fact: in a knife fight stab wounds often feel like light punches. Scottish Highlands, Great Scot, Scots Irish, Men In Kilts, Bagpipes, Scottish Heritage, My Heritage, Kilt
