I'm a little late posting my trays this week, but I hope you enjoy them! We aren't following a theme this week, just working on some fun skills! Beginning Sound Sort Sort the items in the bowl by their beginning sound. Nuts & Bolts One of our favorites: Match each nut to the correctly sized bolt and screw it on. Beginning Sounds "I have...Who has?"

I am on a roll with making some literacy games, so here is another: Beginning Sounds I Have, Who Has... You can play as you wish, but I play with the students in small group. I pass out all the cards, then we take turns asking about the cards, etc. You can get these here!

I am now in week 3 of literacy work stations. Last week, as you might have seen on instagram, I had a rhyming focus, with lots of rhyming activities. Hello! I have a FUN idea to share with you!! I saw this idea on Pinterest using large "gems" from the dollar store. It's a great way to practice sight words, so I thought why not use this same technique for other skills??? I printed small clip art pictures and letters and made beginning sound matching gems.
