In over thirty years of business, I have only come by a couple of these great fans. Apparently, they were marketed to barber shops, as the powerful propellor could clear out a smoky shop in minutes. Ours works very well, and is extremely powerful, but quiet. A switch on the underside activates it, but it could easily be hard wired in to work on a wall switch.
