Science for Middle School
For each unit, every student is given a Performance Monitor. Students keep track of their own grade as it builds throughout the unit. They record each activity as it's completed, and they always keep the Performance Monitor at the front of their notebooks for quick reference. Students always know how they are doing.

Have participants write down their questions, observations, or opinions in graphic organizers or journals before the conversation begins. Once the teacher conducts a few rounds of discussion, students could alternate taking on the role of facilitator.

The feedback we receive is one person’s perspective. While their opinion is valid, it does not NEGATE your opinion. However, you should at least try to consider their opinion and decide if it is useful for you. This lesson plan can be implemented on HOW students should respond to feedback.
