Downed training plane from the 1960's in West Milford, NJ
In the mid-60's two pilots flying a training mission out of Brooklyn’s Floyd Bennett Field had a flame out and crashed into a heavily wooded area in my town (West Milford). It's a Lockheed T2V-1 “Seastar” training plane. I took these in heavy fog at 4:30pm on 11/17/13 . The GPS coordinates to the site are: N 41° 04.622 W 074° 23.801
