What can YOU do to save our honeybees? 1) Buy organic, local, seasonal food grown in ecological farms; and 2) Plant a garden with diverse, native vegetation that is free of chemical pesticides. You can grow bee-friendly flowers or make a small home for wild bees. Help #SaveTheBees!

The "BeeSauna", a German invention to control Varroa mites through precision heat control. While bees can tolerate temperatures up to 64°C, bee nymphs can only handle temperatures up to 42°C. Fortunately, the varroa's proteins are clotting at over 37°C. This device heats the hive to a constant temperature between 40°C and 42°C. Is this the perfect chemical-free solution?
