246K views · 13K reactions | Free sewing tutorial!🎉 This will be the easiest zipper pouch you ever make! Just two pieces of fabric, one zipper, and six seams later and this pouch is finished! 🙌 💛 Supplies: two pieces of fabric, each 9" x 12" and a 10" or longer zipper. 💛 Fold one of the fabric pieces in half, right sides together, to make it 9" x 6". Slide the zipper in, right side up, between the layers and into the fold. Clip or pin the layers to keep the zipper right up against the fold and sew along the fold, catching both layers of fabric and the zipper tape in between. 💛 Flip the fabric piece so the wrong sides are together and the right sides are facing out. Top stitch the fabric right along the edge by the zipper tape (this will help keep everything in place). 💛 Fold the second piece of fabric in half and, keeping the zipper right side up, slide the other side of the zipper into the fold. Clip or pin in place and sew along the fold. 💛 Again, flip the fabric so the wrong sides are together and top stitch right along the edge of the fabric by the zipper. 💛 Slide the zipper pull into the middle of the zipper and trim the zipper ends so they are even with the fabric. 💛 Position the fabric so the right sides are together and wrong sides out. The zipper will be in the middle of the fabric pieces with the top/right side of the zipper facing towards what will be the front of the pouch and the underside of the zipper facing what will become the lining of the pouch. Clip or pin to hold into place. 💛 Starting at the bottom of the lining part, sew around all four sides, leaving a small 3" - 4" hole along the bottom edge of the lining. Turn the pouch right side out through the hole and sew the hole closed. Tuck the lining inside, poke out all the corners, and enjoy! #centerstreetquilts #easysewing #sew #sewingpattern #sewinghacks #sewingtutorial #sewingtips #handmadebag #easysewingproject #zipperpouch #handmade | Center Street Quilts | Facebook
