Blackberry French 75 - Heather Christo
½ cup water ½ cup sugar ¼ cup fresh blackberries Simmer in a small pan for 5 mins. Strain, allow to cool, & chill until ready to use. 1 oz Gin (or Vodka) 1 tablespoon fresh Lemon juice Shake 2 tbsp of the created syrup with ice and above ingredients. Strain into champagne glass. Top with: 2 oz Champagne fresh blackberries and lemon rind for garnish
