CCCP. Monument to the builders of the BAM, the Baikal–Amur Mainline, a 1,520 mm broad gauge railway line in Russia. Traversing Eastern Siberia and the Russian Far East, the 4,324 km (2,687 mi) long BAM runs about 610 to 770 km (380 to 480 miles) north of and parallel to the Trans-Siberian railway. The monument is located at Tynda, the unofficial BAM capital, nearly 7,000km east of Moscow.
CCCP. The Žaliasis Tiltas is a bridge over the Neris River in Vilnius, Lithuania, that connects the city center with the district of Šnipiškės. The bridge long featured four sets of sculptures – prominent examples of so-called Soviet realism. Each featured two people, representing social classes idealized by the Soviet authorities (soldiers, workers, farmers, students). In July 2015 the statues were removed.
