Sarah White | Yoga Teacher Trainer on Instagram: "The Breakdown! 👇🏼 🔹 If you saw my flow post on Monday - this is how I lead (warm) up to that peak flow! 🔹 The whole flow was geared towards working the spiral line of the body.. which is a fancy way of saying it’s twisty and works the outer hip and leg 😜 (In creative sequencing we call it lateral lines & twists) 🔹 Each of these movements (though creative) are chosen specifically in relation to the peak. Shanna 🍌• Yoga Teacher on Instagram: "Ditch the wrists and elevate your practice with this unique hands and wrist-free yoga flow! 🙌 MANY years ago when I was a new-ish yogi, I went to a class and after one vinyasa the teacher (👋🏻 @trailerparkyogi ) announced…that’s the only chaturanga we’re doing today. This is going to be a wrist-free class! I was confused. 🤔 Other people in the class literally cheered. 😀 She went on to teach a class that was, in fact, wrist free! I think about that class often. 💭 Wrist-free sequences also have the strange benefit of being perfect for a day when you’re wearing shoes or can’t touch the ground (like at a gas station). ⛽️ Whether you’re at a gas station on a road trip or in your favorite studio, this flow offers a refreshing break from the norm.
