buying, friendship, and a makeover
A couple weeks ago, I had the opportunity to meet up with one of my friends I've made since starting to blog. Amanda is one of the nicest people I've ever met, and we've gotten together on a couple of occasions. We both have blogs with the name 'pink' in them, we are both vendors at shops, and we both live in the NW. There's other commonalities too, but those are the highlights. ;) It's great to have someone to bounce ideas off of, to validate your successes and down times, and to ask…

Custom :: Buffet
Here are a few before and after photos of a custom project we just finished up for a new client. We decided on a custom mix of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint - we paired French Linen with Old White to create the most perfect shade of gray. Very soft, subtle & beautiful! Shabby Chateau Style~
The back door in my shop has been getting painted and decoupaged and it really is a work in progress... even I don't know what it is going to end up looking like in the end~but I did find it to be a great spot to hang up some botanical reproductions of roses I have for sale in the shop. I think they would be pretty decoupaged on an armoire or the side of a cabinet or bathroom vanity... but for now I thought I would display them on this door. It all feels wonderfully vintage to me~anyhow…
