دره زعفران هرمز
دره زعفران هرمز، واقع در جزیره هرمز در جنوب ایران، به واسطه رنگ زرد و طلایی خاک و سنگ‌هایش، به عنوان یکی از جاذبه‌های گردشگری منحصر به فرد و شگفت‌انگیز این جزیره شناخته می‌شود. این دره، به دلیل شباهت به مزارع زعفران در فصل پاییز، به دره زعفران معروف شده است. ویژگی‌های بارز رنگ زرد و طلایی: رنگ زرد و طلایی خاک و سنگ‌های این دره، حاصل وجود اکسید آهن و مواد معدنی دیگر است که منظره‌ای بدیع و چشم‌نواز را به وجود آورده است. حفره‌ها و گودال‌های کوچک: فرسایش آبی و بادی در طول سالیان متمادی، حفره‌ها و گودال‌های کوچکی را در سطح دره ایجاد کرده که به زیبایی آن افزوده است
