From Batopilas, Andres del Rio District, Mun. de Batopilas, Chihuahua, Mexico. Measures 6 cm by 4.9 cm in size.
Silver with Sphalerite - Kongsberg mining district, Kongsberg Norway
Silver : A great classic. The specimen is splendid, very esthetic and on matrix, with elongated crystals having acute terminations and well-defined faces (a rare feature with Silver specimens), and arborescent growths. Some very small green Sphalerite crystals appear on the tops of some of the Silver crystals. Kongsberg, Buskerud Norway Specimen size: 6.9 × 5.5 × 1.3 cm = 2.7” × 2.2” × 0.5”

The small piece of quartz is host to what at first appear to be wires until you look closer and see that each wire is an elongated spinel law twin! And the surfaces of many of the wires are in fact stacks of small cubes!
