Viñales was my favourite place in Cuba. A tiny town in the middle of green fields, brown tobacco plantations and towering rock formations in the Viñales Valley, Viñales had a calmness and tranquillity I needed after Havana and Trinidad. The Castle Inn, built in the 1600's and refurbished towards the end of Summer 2015. Located on the A619 as it crosses the River Wye at Bakewell bridge. Bakewell, in the centre of the Peak District. No time to stop to sample the ales on offer, we were making our way to Monsal Head for a walk along the River Wye via the viaduct and old railway line, one of our favourite places to visit.
