Product Details

Nerone and Patuzzi for Gruppo NP2, wall unit, walnut wood, Italy, 1970s This extraordinary large cabinet is designed by Nerone and Patuzzi for Gruppo NP2. The Abstract Constructivist sideboard features high relief doors, which are composed of carved wooden forms. The doors feature forms which are typical for the work of Nerone Ceccarelli, who was known as the artistic mind of Gruppo NP2. The group joined forces to merge the disciplines of art, architecture and interior, which is clearly visible in this outstanding piece. This made-to-measure cabinet was specially designed for the interior of a private house. The cabinet is about 295 cm high, which would look wonderful in a space with a high ceiling. The wall unit is signed on the left door with 'NP2 Nerone Patuzzi'. Provenance: Private house in Turin, Italy.
