GOLD, HARD STONE ENAMEL AND GEM-SET PENDANT, CIRCA 1880 -   In the Renaissance Revival style, the agate cameo of a female profile to the left within a rose-cut diamond and ruby border, the open work gold scroll frame set with step-cut and cushion-shaped rubies, emeralds and diamonds and highlighted with blue and white enamel, embellished by a gargoyle surmounting the cameo and supporting a detachable pearl drop, the reverse engraved with foliate motifs, provided with a pin fitting.
