More Art Deco from Cartier, this time it's the tiara formerly belonging to Maureen Ward, Countess of Dudley, nee actress Maureen Swanson. Circa 1930 it's shape resembles pylons, and each pylon can be removed from the tiara to create individual brooches. The Pylon became a fashionable theme after the discovery in 1922 of Tutankhamen tomb by Howard Carter. The tiara was sold by Christie's 13th June 2012 and realised £277,250
