Dryad - A dryad is a tree nymph, or female tree spirit, in Greek mythology. They were normally considered to be very shy creatures, except around the goddess Artemis, who was known to be a friend to most nymphs.
Some of the species the demons introduced were more of a success than others. Most of the dryads and treefolk disappeared to places even the demons couldn't find them. When you do find one, you're generally in a whole heap of trouble.
