Railfest - True West Magazine
When the railroad was completed on May 10, an eight-man Chinese crew was selected to place the last section of the rail, to pay tribute to the hard work of the Chinese laborers. A.J. Russell photographed the only known record of the Chinese role in the "Last Rail" ceremony.
