After seeing all the kitchens made from old entertainment centers, we wanted to make one for our 8 yr old for Christmas. We were in a time crunch and not able to find something to repurpose so we made it ourselves. Oven dials came from the city dump off an old stove, sink from a garage sale, curtain was made from a table cloth I going at Goodwill. She LOVES it!

How To Turn Old Furniture Into a Kids' Toy Workbench: We used a computer/printer cart to make our workbench. You could also use a nightstand, side table or cut down a shelving unit. The key is to make sure the piece is adequate height for your child.
