Today I decided to start making a coal forge. I picked up an old cast iron sink from the dump, an old brake drum from a junk pile, a stand that was on the side of the road for free.... I still need hardware parts for the piping and something for a blower... I plazma cut a hole in the sink for the drum, welded a patch over the drain, and cut a low slot on end of sink so I can get longer pieces of steel in the coals, added some scrap wood as a frame to hold sink to steel....
