Died Neuve-Chapelle.Buried at Le Touret Cemetery. CITATION :For most Conspicuous bravery. Private Barber ran speedily in front of the Grenade company, and threw bombs on the enemy with such effect many surrendered. During this act he suffered mortal injuries.
