This knife by Christian Deminie was hand forged from an old chainsaw. The blade looks almost like a Damascus from the layers of links. It is just under wide and 1 deep. The is made of links from the chainsaw which are still connected to each
Single piece of iron flat stock with a point at one end and spiraled to a right angle handle at top. Inside spiral is a decorative tab handled plug to support and raise the candle. Mounted into a turned wood base.
Flotsam & Jetsam kiridashi . Made from a rusty concrete covered bar of mild steel dug out from the sand on the Jurassic Coast . After hitting off the concrete on a rock and cutting in half with a hack saw I cut the blades to shape removed all the rust and hand filed in the right hand chisel grinds with a Bastard file . The blades were then hand filed sharp with a diamond file and honed with a diamond honer . Both blades were etched in ferric chloride
