Less is More #278

Here´s my card for the sketch on Less is More´s blog! Used dies and word stamp from Penny Black Border Edgers Bashful Happy Snippets Thanks!

Oh, wow....//This is beautiful! It looks like the image was stamped on the card stock and then twice onto a scrap piece of card stock. Cut both with circle cutter. On bottom circle it appears to have had an embossed edge added. Top circle was inked to add color. Then line them up and adhere to main card using pop dots.

Ytterligare ett kort med min ögonfärg, gjorde ett kort till en utmaning på SCS igår, som också passar till färgutmaningen på Less is More´s blogg, THE COLOUR OF YOUR EYES, (my last one:) Stamp: SU Tack för besöket!/Thanks for the visit!

My second contribution uses some rescued components from last week's challenge. The woodgrain and script stamping was cut from a one layer card that was slightly off square and mounted onto this one with the Memory Box die cut added. The sentiment is from Hobbyart

Recipe at "Less is More" Take 3

The recipe this week from "Less is More" is to take any three of all the challenges posted to date and combine them into one card! This is one of my inky indulgences... I began with some Versamark and clear embossed splodges and swirls, then inked the panel with SU Wisteria Wonder, using my duster brushes. I added a whole bunch of other stamps including text, flowers, butterflies and postmarks. I cut the panel into 3 equal sections and inked the edges with silver ink. It's a sentiment from…

Simply One Of A Kind: LIM Pick a Challenge!

LIM Pick a Challenge!

At Less is More the challenge for the next two weeks is to simply pick a favourite challenge from any of the 150 previous challenges as a theme for your card. Here I used week 107 Up in the Air. It's simply a seagull cut using my Silhouette and mounted over a dark cardstock. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches. Week 147 here... a Christmas card incorporating a bird. This cardinal is made from the SU punch using a second 'wing' section to create the crest. The wreath stamps are from Cardio…

Simply One of a Kind: White Space but not white!

White Space but not white!

As most visitors to "Less is More" know, we are always banging on about 'White Space'! I guess it's the essence of the the Clean and Simple genre and it's the one most difficult thing for many crafters to get their heads around. White space doesn't have to be white... it just need to be a clear area, which is why patterned paper can't be used for this. Dry or clear heat embossing can sometimes be used in these areas as long as the focal image is predominant. We have been asked questions as…
