How to Fix Carpet Torn Up by Dogs | Hunker
Dogs can be rough on your carpets and upholstery, and some pups will even dig their claws into rugs and carpeting out of boredom or anxiety. If that results in a torn-up carpet, replacing your flooring altogether can take a big bite out of your budget. Instead of unleashing hundreds of dollars for a new carpet, treat yourself to an easy, budget...
EASY CARPET REPAIR: grab matching strands of carpet fiber from discreet parts of the carpet (pull 'em out one by one), bunch together like a bouquet of flowers, glue into the gaps with glue gun. Trim top of the strands with scissors to help it blend in. Dab more glue as necessary to help keep the new strands attached. This hole was caused by my teething pup-- the apartment manager didn't even notice after my repair!
