Light paintings by Wes Whaley
His tools include a paint roller with long handle, a 2ftx4ft parabolic lens with 1in squares, a fluorescent light and some electroluminescent wire coated in a phosphor which glows when an alternating current is applied to it. "I can shape the electroluminescent wire into any pattern and sometimes I tape glowsticks to the chain for a sweeter effect," he said. Picture: Wes Whaley / Barcroft Media
