I am a firm believer of giving myself honest, raw, smack me in my face pep talks. Sometimes there is no room for the soft toned "don't worry, everything is gonna be okay" shit. Sometimes there's nothing you can say at 2 am. You feel pathetic for wanting to call them with tears in your eyes, but remember it's 2 am and you don't want to ask for help, because you're too busy trying to convince yourself that you'll get better all on your own.
