‘Now until the dualistic identity mind melts and dissolves, it may seem that we are parting. Please be happy. When you understand the dualistic mind, there will be no separation from me. May my good wishes fill the sky.’ ~ Yeshe Tsogyal "This image of White Tara granted empowerments, delivered prophecies, bestowed the blessings of longevity, and how other devoted students were able to receive advice from it directly, brought about the revelation of a terma. ~ termatara

"To him who sees the mind's nature And dispels the mists of ignorance, The dakinis show their faces; Yet in the realm of reality, There is nothing to be seen. Without deliberate 'non-observation' in one's mind, All dharmas rise and are illuminated by themselves. This is preached by all dakinis." ~ Jetsun Milarepa

"Wherever there is space, five elements pervade, Wherever the five elements, the homes of living beings, Wherever living beings, karma and defilements, Wherever there is defilement, my compassion also. Wherever is the need of beings, there I am to help them." ~ Dakini Yeshe Tsogyal

“Strengthened by your love, I will follow your supreme example. Inspired by you, I will break the bonds of petty selfhood. Guided by you, I will never desert living beings, Nor retreat from seeing others as friends to be helped. Inspired by your compassionate action, I will imbue my life – as best I can – With generosity, grace, power and wisdom. Inspired by you, I will be a truth speaker, A joy bringer. Thus do I pledge to live my life in your service, Thus to you I go for refuge.”

“The ground of liberation is this human form… and here distinctions of male and female have no consequence. And yet, if bodhichitta graces it, a woman’s form will be supreme.” ~ Padmasambhava

"Buddha praised Vajrasarasvati as an embodiment of all that is beautiful. Anything we perceive that is beautiful, such as a beautiful work of art or a lovely melody, is a manifestation of the energy of Vajrasarasvati. To express this, Buddha praised Tara with the beauty of 'an array of a hundred full autumn moons' . . . Here we should not fasten on a literal number, but imagine countless brilliant moons as an example of Vajrasarasvati's immeasurable knowledge.

"The innate purity that is the nature of mind That is the essential Vajravarahi, She exists within, So do not look elsewhere. That is foolish and childish. The nature of mind, a wish-fulfilling gem, Stripped of all mental fiction, That is the most satisfying achievement." ~ Dakini's Song to Mahasiddha Virupa
