Lawn Mower Maintenance
Keeping your lawnmower clean can make a big difference in its efficiency and lifespan. Regular cleaning will not only prevent build-up, corrosion and diminished performance of your mower, but it can also minimize the spread of lawn diseases. Rust prevention is key as well, as wet grass will trap moisture in the underside of your mower and create prime conditions for rust buildup on your mower deck (the blade housing on the underside of your mower), blades and blade shaft, reducing performance.

You don’t need to be a garage wizard; with just a few basic hand tools and about a half-hour, you can fix most common small-engine starting problems by following these easy steps.
Many briggs & Stratton powered lawn mowers are thrown away because of a simple carb problem that you can fix yourself in about 10 minutes for less than $10 bucks. Only basis simple hand tools are required. This video will show you how to identify and diagnosis this carb problem. My second video will go through the steps to repair the carb.
