Edward Winslow Mayflower - Bing images Shown as owing money to Mary Ring in the inventory of her estate in 1631 at Plymouth Colony. Isn't it strange that 2 Pilgrim VIP's would owe a woman money? Yet she is scarcely mentioned in history.

In 1620, the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Massachusetts. They sought religious freedom instead of commercial profit. They has signed the Mayflower compact before coming ashore. They made an agreement in which they set out guidelines for governing their North American colony. The Indians taught the Pilgrims how to grow corn and helped them survive in the new land.
