Stykkishólmur Church is a white concrete structure consecrated in 1980. It stands on a promontory overlooking the town of Stykkishólmur in western Iceland, on the northern edge of Snæfellsnes peninsula. The entrance lies between two sweeping arms leading up to the bell tower. The style is modernistic, in common with many Icelandic churches; its appearance incongruous against the surrounding landscape. The church is also used as a concert venue.
