Old window with verse. Any Bible verse would do, as far as I'm concerned; "all scripture is profitable...", but in lieu of scripture, famous quotes would work, metaphorical phrases your grandparents said, defined, something your children asked or said...("Mamaw, did you know the pilgrims came over on cauliflower?"...). And if you wanted, you could use a marker to write on the front, trace onto the back, then erase the front, so you could change out what you want to say.
