Friend mid battle has been each round removing the villain of a limb with an ax, because he is an extra twit. Rolls a nat1 on the third limb. DM informs us he has thrown his ax and seriously injured the NPC we have been helping escape. I kill the boss because he is still unconscious and prone. Loot is divided and when we cannot decide who the last healing potion goes to it is pointed out that the NPC is still injured and it is given to him. He responds that he would like to leave now
